Designing a Cushion for The Pink Wishbone Project to Benefit Breast Cancer


I couldn't have been more pleased when SUITE New York asked me to design a seat cushion for an event they are doing to benefit Breast Cancer Research. As many of you know, my mother passed away from breast cancer almost a year ago Christmas Eve...So the project was personal. Suite New York Furniture has created a pink Wishbone chair for the first time ever and requested to have 20 designers create cushion covers. A hundred percent of the proceeds will go to benefit Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Kelly Behun, Sheila Bridges, Alexandra Champalimaud, Neisha Crosland, Tori Golub, Alexa Hampton, Allegra Hicks, Julie Hillman, Annie Kelly, Celerie Kemble, Kit Kemp, Laura Kirar, Amy Lau, Katie Lydon, Emma Jane Pilkington, Sara Rotman, Ruthie Sommers, Kelly Wearstler, Bunny Williams, and me. The auction begins at the event on October 7th but will continue through October 28th taking place at Barneys Chelsea Passage in New York City.     We have chosen the paint colour the same...so the interiors have given me ideas. It looks really cosy and I love that... have a great day!!!
